ann-arbor1Ann Arbor has to offer something for everyone. Summer time is fun around the area and there are many interesting things to do. From golf to water activities for the carnival, you can find something to do wherever you like is located.

Beach: Enjoy the journey down the Huron River running through the outskirts of the city. You will be taken to near UM’s hospital, and most trips usually start at Argo Park and ends at Gallup Park. A typical trip would last most people about two hours. One word of warning, but this trip. There are some times you have to portage a canoe or kayak and bring down a flight of stairs, which can be problematic if you do not expect that.[

lake-michinganFisheries: A great place to relax while boating or fishing is Lake Ford. It is located off I-94 in Ypsilanti, MI. Lake offers some of the surrounding gardens, including Lunefeather Park, Ford Lake Park, North Bay Park and the North Hydro Park. All of these parks offer a variety of amenities, including gazebos and outdoor grilling area.

Play golf: The area also offers some very good and the private 18-hole golf course. All of this course open seven days a week and vary in price. If you find the best deal, however, try going during the working day because of all the course costs increased during the weekends.

festival-ann-arborFestivals: The city is home to some carnival every summer. One of the big summer festivals is Ann Arbor. This festival usually lasts from mid June to early July and a variety of daily activities for visitors. Other festivals are fun, Ann Arbor Jaycees Summer Carnival. Carnival is usually held one week, starting in early July and many activities of children. Best of all, all the results go to the charity that the Jaycees to help choose each year. As you can see, there are many fun and interesting for outdoor activities keep you busy this summer around Ann Arbor.
